The Gibraltar-Israel Chamber of Commerce has marked the Jewish New year Rosh Hashana with a prestigious Le’Chayim (Cheers!) event at the magnificant Art Space gallery, a stunning venue adorned with beautiful art pieces that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the community. The event gathered prominent figures from both Gibraltar and Israel, fostering connections and celebrating traditions.
The Mayor of Gibraltar, Carmen Gomez, graced the event as the guest of honour. In her heartfelt address, she expressed her wishes for a fruitful new year and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among businesses. Her words resonated with the diverse audience, which included the Head of Opposition, the Deputy Governor, and numerous esteemed business leaders.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to learn about the significant symbols of the Jewish New Year.
